Our 9-12th grade ministry focuses on students who are currently in high school. Through worshiping together, going deeper in small groups, and building relationships with one another, we work to prepare our students for life in the midst of the craziness that is high school, as well as their time past grade school. We strive to provide them a safe place where they feel like they have a sense of belonging and where they learn both who they are and whose they are in Christ.
9th -12th Grade Weekly Schedule
Sunday Morning
- 9:30 – 10:30 am • Bible Study • The Loft
- 10:30 – 11:00 am • Optional Student Hangout • The Loft
- 11:00 am – 12:00 pm • Bible Study • The Loft
All current 5th-12th grade students are invited to join United Students on Sunday mornings for Bible study at 9:30 or 11:00 am in the Loft. We will be studying the same Bible study content during both hours. Throughout the year we will spend seasons walking together through the Bible from Genesis-Revelation. We will have time where we are all meeting together in a large group, and then we will break off into either table groups or small groups, depending on the specific lesson. Our hope is that through this time together, students will gain a deeper knowledge of Scripture and an understanding of its relevance in our lives today.
We encourage our students to worship with their families for the other hour! We believe that worship within a community of Christ followers, is essential for spiritual growth and maturity. We recognize the impact that families have on students and we want them to experience worshiping and serving together.
Wednesday Evening
Each Wednesday, throughout the school year, students gather for a time of fellowship, games, worship, and small groups. We focus on a number of different topical discussions as our students gather in grade specific small groups led by our awesome adult mentors. Our desire is to provide a space where we can meet the students where they are and help them see how they can impact the world around them, regardless of their age.
