One of our core values is: Living like Jesus means living generously.
Living generously is a reflection of a real understanding of God’s heart, God’s character, our human condition and how God challenges us to live. Living generously is a tangible and real practice that works against our sense of isolation. When we give to others, in a supernatural way, that activity connects us to God because we are participating in an act that actually began in God. And when we give, when we live generously, we are actively working against the tendency of our human condition that drifts towards idolatry, our willingness to serve something less than God in the hopes that what we serve will give us what only God can give.
Generosity is what grateful believers do
in response to the generosity of God.
Because of your generosity, we are able to provide only the best for the children, students, and adults who come through our doors for the countless ministry opportunities we offer.
Because of your generosity, we are able to extend a far reach into our community offering support and care. A place for others to call their home.
Because of your generosity, lives are changed, hearts are mended, and souls are drawn closer to their creator because of the worship, study, and social gatherings we have on our campus.
The life and ministry of First Methodist Mansfield is enabled by thousands who graciously sacrifice to support our shared work. Everything we do, we do together. Because of your generosity, we are able to support a significant budget to provide the opportunity to do the great ministry work our church has historically accomplished.
Sharing this estimate of giving card enables our leaders to make wise decisions for our future and ensures that your sacrifice goes as far as possible towards our mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ who love God, love others, and serve the world.
