FULL-TIME POSITIONS
Kids Ministry Director
Full-time Position
Do you have a passion for helping children know and follow Jesus? First Methodist Mansfield is seeking a relational, visionary leader to serve as our Kids Ministry Director. This full-time position provides strategic leadership for our ministry for infants through elementary-aged children, equipping volunteers, investing in families, and creating engaging environments where kids can grow in their faith. Working alongside our Next Gen Ministries team, this leader will help shape the spiritual formation of the next generation while advancing the church’s mission of making and maturing disciples of Jesus Christ who love God, love others, and serve the world.
The Kids Ministry Director will oversee the planning and execution of weekly programming, special events, volunteer development, curriculum, and staff leadership. This role is ideal for someone who is both a visionary and an effective organizer—someone who enjoys building teams, partnering with parents, developing leaders, and creating meaningful experiences that point children to Christ. Candidates should have experience leading children’s ministry or working with preschool and elementary-aged children, strong leadership and communication skills, and a heart for serving families.

Student Ministry Assistant Director – High School
Full-time Position
First Methodist Mansfield is seeking a passionate follower of Jesus to serve as our Student Ministry Assistant Director – High School. This position provides primary leadership for students in grades 9–12 while helping shape and execute the overall vision of Student Ministry.
The Assistant Director will lead high school programming, develop volunteers and student leaders, build relationships with students and families, and create engaging environments where students can grow in their faith through Wesleyan teaching and spiritual practices. Kids Care Staff
Part-time Position
Are you passionate about sharing your love for Jesus Christ with children and families? The FMCM Kids Care ministry team may be looking for you! We are looking for members to join our team who are available Monday – Thursday from 2:30 on, as well as Weekends. Some duties include teaching faith-based curriculum, providing care for children ages 6 weeks through 4th grade, changing diapers, feeding children, assisting with toilet training, PLAY, and nourishing the spiritual growth and development of the children in their care.
