Community Impact
Through our Community Impact Ministries, we partner with organizations and groups to make a difference within our region/metroplex. We collect and deliver food to share with the homeless, the elderly, and families in need. We participate in construction projects to build and repair homes. We provide mentoring and assistance for children in our local schools. We serve in ministries that create Christian communities in prisons. We serve together in many other significant ways to share the love of God and make a positive impact in our neighborhoods.
Our church partners with Trinity Habitat for Humanity to build two houses each year. Be a part of the next Habitat for Humanity build and make the dream of homeownership come true for a family in need. Volunteers of all skill levels, age 16 and up, are welcome; tools will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. (Volunteers ages 16-17 must have a release signed by parents/guardians.) Hands of Christ ministry helps with minor home repairs for the elderly and disabled in the Mansfield community. Workdays are on a Saturday in March, April, May, September, October, and November. Volunteers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to serve – there is something for everyone to do! If you are looking for ways to get involved and serve your neighbors, we’d love to have you! “Little” Hands of Christ is a unique serving opportunity specifically for our young families to serve together. Kids ages 5 years and up are encouraged to come serve alongside a parent, grandparent or guardian as we bless our community through age-appropriate service projects. Spring “Little” Hands of Christ:

Through Mansfield ISD’s Partners in Education program, you can become a mentor for one of the children in our community. The Mansfield ISD IMPACT Mentoring Program unites caring and committed adults from across the community with students to help them overcome obstacles, succeed in school and make a positive impact in the lives of our students. Kairos Prison Ministry brings the light, love and friendship of Jesus Christ into the lives of prisoners.
A Kairos Weekend is an intense, four-day spiritual retreat for prison residents that incorporates curriculum designed to build and encourage pro-social character and behavior, prayer and music. There are several ways to help support this ministry. From volunteering, baking cookies, cover the cost of meals, sponsor an inmate or most importantly pray for the ministry and all involved. The Angel Tree Ministry is a beautiful community outreach FMCM supports and leads. Each year our church sponsors angels from all over Mansfield and surrounding communities.
