At First Methodist Mansfield, we want women to encounter God in a real way, learn about who He is, build life-giving relationships, and make disciples right where they are. No matter what season of life you are in, we have opportunities for you!
‘Those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.’ Proverbs 11:25
This is a great place to connect with women of all generations. We offer Bible studies, book clubs, Bible journaling, craft nights, conferences, and service opportunities. Every gathering is focused on knowing the love of Jesus and equipping us to live into our mission of making disciples in our homes, church, and world. Our hope is to experience God’s peace and deep love together, leaving our souls refreshed. Join the Refresh Women’s Ministry Facebook Group.
Wednesdays Starting September 25 • 6:30 – 8:00 pm
Does the Bible really tell us that our emotions are untrustworthy? God made us to feel our emotions, to examine and share them-not suppress them. By studying Jesus’ life, we learn how to live emotionally healthy lives and care for those around us.
Join Women’s Ministry for the Untangle Your Emotions Bible Study to explore how emotions, when submitted to God, connect us to each other and to Him. Discover how to navigate and understand your emotions in a way that brings you closer to God and strengthens your relationships. Registration required.
If you need childcare during Untangle Your Emotions please register each week for Kids Care.

The Walk to Emmaus is an experience of renewal and formation, designed to help you grow as a disciple while revealing God’s grace and love to you in a unique way. The retreat is held at Glen Lake Camp in Glen Rose, Texas. This retreat offers a chance to discover how God’s grace is real in your life, learn practices of Christian discipleship, and explore what it means to be the Body of Christ. You will engage in personal and small group reflections, worship, and participate Holy Communion, all within a weekend wrapped in prayer and supported by the First Methodist Mansfield Emmaus Community.
