55+ MINISTRY
We believe a disciple never stops learning, so we encourage active involvement in the life of the church for all ages. The 55+ Ministry group is for adults 55+. We offer a variety of activities specifically for this group; from Bible studies, bingo, potluck and games, chair yoga, day trips and so much more. Once or twice a year we host a luncheon for our 55+ Ministry group to gather for great food and fellowship. This is a wonderful time to visit with one another, sharing in each other’s lives and special moments. All adults 55+ are welcome. You do not need to be a member of our church to attend; invite friends, family, and neighbors to any of our events.
Pigeon Forge and Smoky Mountains Trip
October 19 – 25 • Dallas, TX
Get ready to see brilliant fall colors and the beauty of Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains in October. The Great Smoky Mountains is a mountain range rising along the Tennessee – North Carolina border in the southeastern United States. Pigeon Forge is a mountain resort city in Tennessee, five miles north of the Great Smoky Mountains. Total Cost for this trip is $1,065 per person, double occupancy and single occupancy is an additional $279. A $75 deposit is required if you are not paying in full. Remember if you pay the entire amount for this trip, the $75 deposit is included in the $1,065.00.
The cost of travel protection plan insurance is optional at $72. This is an additional cost separate from the trip amount. If you would like the travel protection plan insurance you will need to sign-up through this website . Your tour number is 2181657.

BINGO

Come join the fun of playing Bingo with the Thru the Ages group! We will provide snacks and water. Bring a friend to enjoy the fun and fellowship.

CHAIR YOGA
Wednesdays • 9:00 – 9:45 am • Sanctuary Atrium
Join Kim Bair and Dawn Brown as they lead our Chair Yoga class. These two amazing yoga instructors will take turns every other week leading class. This is a great way to stretch and strengthen muscles in a safe way. Wear comfortable clothes and bring water. This is for men and women. Your body will thank you for taking Chair Yoga and the lasting benefits you will have.
WIDOWS GAME GROUP
2nd and 4th Tuesday • 1:30 – 4:30 pm • Gathering Room (Bldg D)
Join the widow’s game group twice a month for social and game time. No experience necessary.

YARN MINISTRY
1st Monday • 1:00 – 2:30 pm • Gathering Room (Bldg D)
If you want to brush up or learn, join the Yarn group 1st Monday of the month. Just grab your supplies and stop by for fellowship and create washcloths/hot pads for the Pantry bags as well as blankets and other items for the community. You can even bring your own projects.
