Our 55+ Senior Adult Ministry mixes fun with faith for those of us in the second phase of life. Though we may be near or at retirement age, we are not called to retire from life! God continues to ask each of us to serve, meet new people, engage in the Bible, and find joy in life! We want to stay engaged in the life of the church and community, so we offer events, trips, Bible studies, speakers, and opportunities to serve together. This church reaches out to the community with programs that challenge and enrich the mind and spirit, so all Boomers & Beyond events are open to guests and members. We would love for you to join us for any of our upcoming events or programs.

Join the Adult Discipleship Team on Sunday mornings in Building C at 9:15 AM and 10:45 AM where you will greet members and guests as they find their Sunday School classrooms. For more information contact grouplife@fmcm.org.

Angel Tree is a wonderful ministry that helps families and children of Mansfield ISD have a good Christmas with donations of clothes and other necessities.

Men in their 50s, 60s, and 70s - Band of Brothers begins their morning with coffee and friendly conversation starting at 6:30 AM on Saturday mornings in Building C. They then move to Room 11 around 7:30 AM for weekly Bible study.

Women's group that meets Mondays 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM in Building C Room 8. This group consists of Senior women 55 and up. The Fall study will be on "Matchless - The Life and Love of Jesus" by Angie Smith. This study offers a deep dive into understanding Jesus' life, which should provide a lot of meaningful discussion and insight.

Join us on Wednesdays from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM in Building C, Room 8. This fall, we will be reading through Max Lucado's "Life Lessons." In addition to our enriching study sessions, Bible Buddies engage in a variety of fellowship activities, fostering a supportive and joyful community. Come for the study, stay for the friendship!

This group of young moms participates in Bible study and fellowship activities on Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 PM in Building A. Childcare is available with registration.

Our Breast Cancer Support group meets the 2nd Monday of each month from 7:00pm - 8:30pm, in Bldg. C, room C3.

This group provides emotional support, information sharing, and a sense of community during the challenging journey of breast cancer. Receiving support from friends and family is so important, but it's also helpful to connect with people who have gone through or are going through similar experiences with breast cancer.

Family caregivers are challenged with increasing demands on time and responsibility when caring for loved ones. The caregiver's team will be hosting a speaker throughout the year to address the different needs of our caregivers.

This group books all of the rooms and Resources in Bldg. C in CCB.

The Chancel Choir brings together adults of all ages who love to sing, and serve by leading in worship at our Traditions services at 11:00 am. No experience is necessary! No audition needed! Join the newly revamped Disciples Sunday School Group, designed for individuals and couples in their 50s, 60s, and 70s. Meeting in-person every Sunday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM in Building C Room 9, this dynamic group engages in Bible study, service opportunities, and social activities. The Disciples group delves into both the Old and New Testaments, applying biblical teachings to daily life. Led by group members, this class offers a supportive community to grow in faith and fellowship. Come and be part of this enriching experience!

Men who have completed the Walk to Emmaus retreat, meeting off campus, Thursdays 8:00 - 9:00 AM.

The Emmaus group reunion is a small accountability group of two to six persons who have usually participated in the three-day Walk to Emmaus and who want to continue their pursuit of a life lived wholly in the grace of God. These small follow-up groups help pilgrims translate the message conveyed on the Walk to Emmaus weekend into a daily walk with Christ. With the regular support of a few faithful friends, the gift of God's love in Jesus Christ becomes a lifestyle of Christian discipleship through the threefold discipline of piety, study, and action.

Individuals and couples in their 50s, 60s, and 70s, meeting in person in C-11 Sundays 9:30 - 10:30 AM. Faithbuilders is a warm and friendly discussion-based group.

Starting September 8th, 2024. Join us for a parent-focused group exploring "Habits of the Household." Meeting every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM in Building C, Room 5, this group is designed for adults aged 30 and up. Together, we will engage in Bible studies, fellowship activities, and serving opportunities, creating a supportive community for parents navigating the school years. Individuals and couples of all ages. Fusion is a welcoming group focused on spiritual growth, group discussion, and serving opportunities. Fusion will meet at 10:45 AM in Building C Room 8 as well as online.

God's Crocheting & Sewing Ministry meets quarterly for food and fellowship.

Whether you are an advanced ringer or have never played bells before, we have a bell choir for you. Our more experienced bell choirs lead in worship once a month and have the opportunity to attend bell clinics and festivals. For more information, contact Beth LaMee.

Hands of Christ meets 3 times in Spring and 3 times in Fall to help residents of the community with repairs and needed projects they may not be able to afford to have done. Email serving@fmcm.org for more information.

Heart Meals is a Ministry that allows church members to deliver chicken soup to other members who are in need of some compassion.

"His Hands and Feet" is a community of independent women in their 50s and 60s. The group engages in various activities such as Bible studies, fellowship events, and serving projects. They attend the Fusion Sunday School class together at 11:00 AM in Building C Room 8.

Do you love to play the guitar? Join the Holy Pickers! All levels of experience are welcome. The Holy Pickers practice weekly on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM in Building D. They perform at church events, nursing homes, and in the community.

Individuals and couples in their 40s, 50s, and 60s meeting in person from 9:30 - 10:45 AM in C-7 and on Zoom Sunday mornings. The Homebuilders group offers Bible study, fellowship activities, and group serving opportunities. Homebuilders enjoy serving the community, such as providing meals for mission week or serving breakfast tacos on Sunday mornings.

Are you ready to make a difference in someone else's life? Serve at our first annual Included Ball on Friday, February 28th. It takes over 300 volunteers to put on this magical evening hosted by our Included Special Needs Ministry. Our biggest need is for people to serve as buddies for our guests, but there are many other opportunities. Registration to serve is open and we would love for you to consider joining us in serving that evening and help make it A Night to Remember.

This group is for all individuals who completed an Included Ball 2025.

Serving can involve assisting our friends who need a buddy in their grade-level classroom or helping manage our Sensory Station for our friends who need a quiet, calming environment to worship.

Serving can include helping set up and clean up, assisting with our programming activity for the day, assisting with snacks, and engaging with our participants.

Commitment: Second Wednesday of the month, 10:00 - 12:00 pm. You may commit to every one or when you are available.

Moms' of Special Needs child(ren) meet for Bible study, crafts, and table talk on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 PM in Building C. No childcare available.

Serving can include helping set up and clean up, helping with our craft, helping with our programming activity for the day, helping with snacks, and engaging with our participants.

Commitment: First and Third Wednesday of the month, 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. You can commit to every one or when you are available.

Journey Through Grief is a six-week class for those who have experienced any kind of loss by providing tools and a supportive environment to understand and cope with the grief process.

This group of all-aged women meets on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 PM in Building A. They follow the Wednesday Refresh Bible studies, in a smaller group setting.

Looking for a fun playgroup for your little ones? Want to connect with other parents and grandparents here in Mansfield? Then join us for Little Explorers! This group meets once a month at various locations throughout the community and is open to anyone with young children or grandchildren. Little Explorers is all about providing a space for the kids to play and explore while the adults have time to engage and connect with one another. Meals on Wheels delivers meals to those that cannot get out to get food. The food is picked up on our campus and delivered around Mansfield and surrounding areas. If you are interested in subbing or taking a route email andrew@fmcm.org.

Our men's softball league is for men of all skill levels. The action takes place on Tuesday's evenings. Our fall season will begin on November 12th - December 17th, 2024. Life can get crazy. There's power in men coming together to compete, pray, and HAVE FUN! Come be a part of it.

The orchestra is comprised of youth and adults who lead in worship at 11:00 am on Sundays in our Traditions community, playing hymns, preludes, and offertories. The orchestra also performs major works with the Chancel Choir at Christmas and Easter. There are also opportunities for solos and ensembles. Quilting with Heart meets in Building C Room 8 from 1 - 3 PM. The Quilting with Heart women's group meets every third Wednesday of the month for fun, community, and quilting! Come and join the fun!

The Saturday Morning Men's Book Study at FMCM is a small group of men (age ranging from 35 to 60) who select a book (approximately a book a month 6 weeks) to read (or listen), recap, and discuss. They meet in Building A Saturday mornings from 8:00 -9:30 AM as well as offsite.

This group of men was brought together out of two shared interests; the love of God and the pursuit of growing in their faith, and secondly the love of learning and studying. Although all have Christian content, the books have ranged from biographies and history to leadership and Bible commentary.

All you need is to grab the current book we are studying, bring a good cup of coffee, and dive in with your thoughts and learnings. We share, pray for one another, and mostly have fun learning all we can about how to be better men, husbands, fathers, and followers of Christ.

Individuals in their 50s, 60s, and 70s, meeting in-person and virtually Sunday mornings 9:30 - 10:45 AM in building C room 8. Single Spirit is a group of active singles who enjoy group discussion, frequent social events, and group serving and mission opportunities.

The stitches of love quilting group is a ministry to create quilts for children in crisis at Cook Children's hospital. The group creates and delivers over 200 quilts each year. Everyone knows "it takes a village" when it comes to raising kids, and our newest group "The Village" is here to help you do just that. Each month The Village will feature a program that will highlight a particular challenge as it relates to parenting, mentoring, leading, and/or teaching children, and help you find ways to respond to those challenges in a practical and loving way.

The Village is intended for all types of caregivers as we all play a role in raising the children in our community! The goal is for everyone to have the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and resources, while also making connections with other parents, grandparents, youth leaders, and teachers who are likely experiencing many of the same challenges when it comes to raising our children. We want to create a space where everyone can learn, share, laugh, cry, support and connect…after all, isn't that what a village is for?

We will Offer this wonderful group in two sessions per month. One will be the last Tuesday of each month in the morning with the second on the last Thursday of each month in the evening to give everyone an opportunity to attend.

Our Boomers and Beyond just got an upgrade to Thru The Ages! Come join the Thru the Ages group for Chair Yoga! This is a one-hour class led by a licensed yoga instructor. Please dress comfortably and bring your own bottle of water, and we will have the rest ready for you! A love offering basket will be available. Turning faith, hope, and love into action on behalf of women, children, and youth around the world. All are welcome to join us at any time. United Women in Faith participates in monthly fellowship activities and serving projects. FMCM UMF Circle meets on the third Thursday of the month, except for June through August.

Join the widow's game group twice a month for social and game time. No experience necessary. This group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.

Our Yarn Ministry group meets in Room 120 of Bldg. D on Mondays from 10 - 12. This is for all, from the newest beginner to the expert. For those that are beginners they will provide yarn and needles for you to get started; whether it's crocheting or knitting. They make potholders for the Food Pantry, baby blankets for the women's center, and also lap blankets and prayer shawls for Methodist Hospital. It's a great group of ladies!
