Dear First Family,
It has been an incredible week on our campus and in our community with hundreds of students and adults blessing our neighbors and other partners through this year’s Mission Week. Students from 5th grade to our graduating Seniors, as well as our Included family, have been hard at work and we have been blessed to also be joined by students from our sister church, First Methodist Midlothian.
This weekend, you will have the chance to see a video recap of everything God has done in and through these students and adults over these last several days. I also want to extend an invitation to everyone in our church to our Closing Worship service, which will happen in our main sanctuary today at 5:30 pm.
It will be an inspiring service. I promise that hearing the sounds of their voices as they sing and seeing the joy they’ve experienced this week will be a rich blessing. I’ll be speaking to them today about living a “heaven meets earth” kind of life. I’d love for you to join us.
We are also looking forward to all of our services this weekend as we share the second week of a series I’ve been excited about for several months, The Upside Down Kingdom.
It’s a beautiful thing to be able to say, “I’m proud of my church.”
Weeks like this fill my heart with joy and with immense pride. I hope you feel that as well. These kids have worked hard and we are incredibly proud of each and every one of them.
