PRACTICE OF PRAYER
This past weekend, we began our year-long focus on The Practice of Prayer. If you were unable to be in worship with us this weekend, either in person or online, visit our website here to watch our messages. As a church, we are adopting the practice of setting our alarms to noon each day to set aside time to say The Lord’s Prayer. Join us in this practice, and let us see how powerful the practice of prayer can be. If you would like to dive deeper into the practice of prayer, let me recommend the book, How to Pray; A Simple Guide For Normal People by Pete Greig. Good news, we have restocked and these books will be available at our FMCM Market this weekend or you can purchase one from Amazon on the link above.

CONFIRMATION – DEADLINE APPROACHING
February 2nd • 12:30 – 2:30 PM
We have officially entered into 2025 and confirmation is right around the corner. It’s not too late to register if you haven’t done so already! Confirmation is a time of spiritual growth in which 6th-grade students explore the foundations of the Christian faith with their peers and mentors. Throughout their confirmation journey, students will begin to see what faith means to them and what it means to be a confirmed member of First Methodist Mansfield. Confirmation meets for 10 seasons during the spring semester and concludes with a retreat at Glen Lake Camp and a Confirmation Service. At the Confirmation Service, students affirm their response to God’s grace and proclaim faith in Christ and their baptismal covenant. The final day to register for Confirmation is January 17th. For more information about Confirmation and to register, visit our website here.
PASTORS BIBLE STUDY
