Three Things I Ask of You

by David Alexander

Dear First Family,

We are preparing for our final weekend in the season of Advent as well as the Christmas Eve services we will be offering on December 23rd and 24th. The times and styles of each of those nine worship opportunities are listed below.

In preparation for next week, I want to ask you to do three things:

First, I want you to prayerfully consider who you might invite to come to one of our Christmas Eve services. Whether that is a neighbor, co-worker, family member or friend, your personal invitation is always the most significant reason an individual or family chooses to be a part of one of these gatherings.

Second, would you prayerfully consider serving as a greeter before or after the service you plan on attending? You and your family could provide a beautiful welcome to all who participate in Christmas Eve. If you are interested in serving, sign up here.

Finally, I want to ask you to pray for this unique opportunity we have to bless our community this Christmas. Pray for all of our teams who are preparing to lead. I appreciate your prayers for the message I will share at each of those services. Pray for each person who will attend. Pray that God would be glorified, that hearts would be touched, and lives changed this Christmas.

I look forward to seeing you in worship this weekend!

Grace & Peace,

Pastor David
