PASTORS BIBLE STUDY
January 22nd  •  10:00 – 11:00 AM  •  Chapel and Online

You’re invited to attend an ongoing Bible study! This spring we will continue reading through the book of Acts together. This one-hour study, led by our pastors, provides a way for you to be in Scripture and build relationships with one another. Come as you are able, bring a Bible, and invite a friend.
Childcare is available with registration Here.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
January 22nd  •  6:30 – 8:00 PM  •  Chapel

Have you ever wondered if your current season has a purpose? Do you ever feel like your present moment is so far from where you really long to be, but the answer to all your prayers is “not yet”?  Join Women’s Ministry for this six-session video Bible study as we learn how to live in the present and trust in God’s faithfulness—even while hoping for the future.
Now and Not Yet Bible Study explores six profound ways God makes His faithfulness known in the biblical stories of Abraham, Joseph, Israel, Hannah, and the Apostle Paul. As you encounter God through the pages of His Word, you’ll see His ways, His character, His purposes, and His faithfulness in the lives of His people.  And the more we understand God’s ways, the more we will discover that He’s just as faithful in our lives right now—even more than we know.

PENIA FOOD PANTRY FOOD DRIVE
Due back THIS WEEKEND  •  Missions@fmcm.org
Help us replenish our food pantry here at First Methodist Mansfield!  Peína is a Greek word meaning “hunger”, but can also be used to mean “fulfill” or “satisfy”. This is the goal of our food pantry located in Building D. The food we hand out is provided to us through the generosity of our congregation and consists of non-perishable food items. Please place these items in one of the Big Blue Bins around our campus. If you are interested in donating, here is a list of the items we try to keep in stock at all times: Boxed Cereal,  Peanut Butter, Jelly, Canned Fruit, Canned Vegetables,  Protein Soups, Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Rice, Canned or Dry Beans, Canned Chicken, Canned Tuna, Hamburger/Tuna Helper, and Individual Snack Items.

IDD COUNCIL MAKING CONNECTIONS RESOURCE FAIR
February 1st  •  9 am – 1 pm  •  Building A (Gym and Loft)
We are honored to serve as a host for the IDD Council’s Making Connections Disability Resource Fair on Saturday, February 1st, starting at 9 am. The purpose of this resource fair is to bring together the disability resources in our community to one easily accessed location for families and caregivers to collect information and learn about the benefits and services each provides. There will be over 140 vendors in our gym, ranging from recreational opportunities to respite and college programs. Find out more information here.  If you or somebody you know would benefit from this gathering, plan on joining us on February 1st. Because we expect hundreds of people from all over Tarrant County, we want to provide the best hospitality we can. If you are interested in serving as a greeter during this event, email us here

DISASTER RESPONSE TRAINING
February 7-8  •  Registration is Required
We are excited to be partnered with Texans on Missions to mobilize our congregation and assist those affected by natural disasters all over the country.  We will have our first disaster response training in February for anyone interested in being trained in basic disaster response, chain saw, fire and flood response, food handling, and temporary roofing. For more information, email us here or register here

LECTIO 365
We are pausing our First 15 devotionals and encouraging everybody to download the Lectio 365 App to serve as our daily devotional time for the rest of 2025. We feel like this is the best way to fully embrace our year-long focus on prayer because of the unique format the Lectio 365 App provides. To download the app, simply search “Lectio 365” in your app store or scan the QR code below. You can also stop by our Connecting Point this weekend and a member of our staff can help download it to your device. If you are unable to use an app as a resource and would prefer to receive this devotional via email, send us an email here and we will connect with you.

Don’t forget to check out our Online Bulletin each week for: New Events, Prayer Request, Giving and ways you can connect to all we have going on here at First Methodist Mansfield. FMCM.org/Bulletin
