LABOR DAY – CHURCH CAMPUS IS CLOSED
Our church campus will be closed on September 2nd in observance of Labor Day. Our Pastors will still be available on the Pastoral Emergency phone at (817) 739-6755.  You can also text the church at 817-477-6498 or email us at info@fmcm.org and somebody from our staff will respond shortly.

WELCOME HOME DINNER
September 25th  •  6:30 PM
Are you interested in becoming a Member of First Methodist Mansfield? Have you joined over the past several months and want to get plugged in? We want to WELCOME YOU HOME by inviting you to our Welcome Home Dinner on September 25th at 6:30 pm. During this dinner, Pastors and staff members will be present to answer questions and help you connect in different ministries and into the life of our church.

HOSPITALITY TRAINING / APPRECIATION DINNER
September 11th  •  6:30 PM  
We believe that a church’s best welcome is not the building, the doors, or the signs…it’s the people. On September 11th, we are excited to host a hospitality training put on by Pastor Mike Ramsdell. This opportunity is open to not only those currently volunteering in our Guest Services Ministry but also anybody interested in serving the church in this way. Please register for this event Here

MILITARY MINISTRY 
Our Military Ministry is collecting donations for the USO. Your donations can be dropped off into any of our blue bins on campus throughout the week or in our Ministry Corner before or after worship over the next several weekends. HANDS OF CHRIST
September 21st  •  8:00 AM 
Hands of Christ has started up for the fall. All are invited to come help the residents of Mansfield with minor home repairs and projects! We will meet in the lobby of Building D at 8:00 am for instructions and a brief team meeting then head out and serve. Take a moment and let us know you are coming by filling out this form

MID-WEEK FAMILY GAME NIGHT
August 28, 2024  •  6:30 – 8:00 PM  •  The Gym
Join us for our Midweek Worship Family Game Night this Wednesday, where we’ll kick off the school year with games, nachos, and an awesome start to Midweek Worship. All First Methodist Kids families are invited to come together for a fun-filled evening of community and connection! We would love for you to let us know you are coming so we can make sure we have enough food and fun for everyone. Please register here. Registration is not required, just preferred.

MID-WEEK PROGRAMMING STARTS
August 28, 2024  •  6:30 – 8:00 PM  •  The Loft
Join us on Wednesdays during the school year for Midweek Worship! All 5th – 12th graders come together to worship, hear God’s Word, and build meaningful relationships. Our messages focus on biblical truths and how they connect with students’ lives. Above all, we want to create a fun environment for students to encounter Jesus and experience his love through community. No registration is required. Just show up!

JUST US GIRLS / JUST US GUYS
September 13th  •  6:00 – 8:00 PM  
This is a special time for 5-8th grade girls and guys to get together, share a meal, engage in creative activities, and strengthen bonds with friends their age. In addition to these activities, a speaker for each group shares a biblically-based message that addresses the unique challenges and joys of being a young woman in middle school.

PUMPKINS ARE COMING 
September 29th •  12:30 PM  •  Building A – The Loft

Fall is here, and soon our pumpkins will be too! On September 29th, we will be receiving an 18-wheeler FULL of so many pumpkins!  We would love your help in unloading all of these pumpkins. To help, simply show up at 12:30 pm on the front lawn of the church facing Walnut Creek.  Once you arrive to unload, you will be placed on a team and assigned a certain area of the patch to unload pumpkins. STEPPING STONE
September 4th  •  9:30 AM – 12:00 PM  
Included Stepping Stone is a place where adults can form relationships with others in their area. KEYSTONE
September 11th  •  10:00 – 11:30  AM  
Keystone is open to the community for adults looking to learn life skills; in each session, we will learn a new skill or improve on what we already know. Some examples are money management, cooking, cleaning, self-defense, etiquette, and more. YOUNG ADULT ICE CREAM SOCIAL

Hey Young Adults! Join us for an exciting Game Night with an irresistible Ice Cream Bar! Are you seeking a community of young adults in a similar stage of life? If you are aged 18-30, whether you are in college, starting your career, or recently married, this group is ideal for you. Join us for an opportunity to connect, form friendships, bring a friend, and grow spiritually together. 

CHAIR YOGA 
STARTING SEPTEMBER 4  •  9:00 AM  •  ATRIUM

Come on Wednesday morning from 9:00 – 9:45 for our Chair Yoga class which is held in the Atrium area outside the Sanctuary, Bldg. B. We have two yoga instructors who will be leading at different times to guide you through stretching and strengthening safely. 

PASTORS BIBLE STUDY 
STARTING SEPTEMBER 11 • 10:00 – 11:00 AM • Chapel
You’re invited to attend an ongoing Bible study! This fall we will be reading through the book of Acts together. This one-hour study, led by our pastors, provides a way for you to be in Scripture and build relationships with one another. Come as you are able, bring a Bible, and invite a friend. 

GOD OWN IT ALL BIBLE STUDY 
SEPTEMBER 9th – October 14th  •  6:30 – 8:00 PM  
Join this six-week study where you will look at God’s Word to discover financial principles that will invite contentment in all areas of your life. We live in the wealthiest nation in the history of the world. So why don’t we feel rich? Why do we experience unhappiness and discontentment? DIVORCE CARE
Begins August 28th
  •   6:30 – 8:00 PM 
Join us for a 13-week class starting Wednesday, August 28th. Divorce Care will help you face your challenges and move toward rebuilding your life in a different season. Maybe you’ve been divorced for some time but you realize you’re still struggling with unresolved emotions. Maybe you are newly separated and need a community to surround you at this time.  This class might be for you. It’s the next step in finding help, discovering hope, and experiencing healing. JOURNEY THROUGH GRIEF
Begins September 12
 • 10 AM and 6:30 PM 
If you are grieving a loss in your life, we want to invite you to attend our 6-week Journey Through Grief class. This class is for those who have experienced any kind of loss and provides tools and a supportive environment to understand and cope with the grief process. MANSPHIL HARMONIC CONCERT
