MISSION WEEK 2025
July 13 – 17, 2025
Mission Week is an incredible opportunity to serve in the name of Jesus right in our community! Surrounded by love and support from our congregation, students and volunteers will make a tangible difference through construction projects and partnerships with local non-profit organizations. Each evening, we come together for worship – diving into God’s Word, lifting our voices in praise, and growing in faith. The moments between are filled with laughter, prayer, games, great food, and most importantly, encountering Jesus in powerful ways.
Throughout the week, students will journey alongside a small group, led by two dedicated adult volunteers. First Methodist Mansfield will serve as a “home base” where we will return after our serving. Those who participate in Mission Week walk away with renewed identity in Christ and passion for loving God and their neighbor. We can’t wait for you to be part of it!

Adult Mentors and Volunteers
A successful Mission Week starts with a dedicated team of adult volunteers and mentors investing in our students. This week-long experience is incredibly rewarding, and we simply couldn’t do it without you! Our greatest need is for Work Team Adults, but there are many other essential ways to serve, including helping in the kitchen, driving the van for pick-up and drop-off, serving snacks, and hosting a shower house. Your time and commitment make all the difference—join us in making this week unforgettable! Click HERE to see all the ways to serve for Mission Week.

Included Special Needs Participants
Included Experience is open to all of those who are 18 years and older.
We offer a very unique and meaningful experience this week for our Included Special Needs Participants. We use an adapted version of the Middle School mission week schedule with a greater focus on serving in our community both indoors and outdoors. Participants will be dropped off at 7:15 am so they can eat breakfast with all of the work teams before going out to their own mission project and experience. They will then have a fun afternoon activity before heading to dinner and worship. We ask that they be picked up after worship each night at 8:30 pm. Spaces are limited to ensure the safety of our participants and an overall quality experience.
We are also in need of Included Buddies to help us that week. Buddies will come alongside our Participants and serve as mentors throughout the week. We ask that you are at least 16 years old to serve as a buddy during United Mission Week.
If you have any questions about our Included Experience, please email us at included@fmcm.org.
