United Student Ministries has been hosting the Pumpkin Patch for just under a gazillion years and serves as our only fundraiser for United Student Ministries. It is not only a fundraiser, but it is also a great opportunity for our Student Ministries to connect with our community.
The money we raise goes directly toward our United Students Mission Projects. To answer frequently asked questions, please see our FAQ’s.
Fall is here, and soon our pumpkins will be too! On these two dates, we will be receiving an 18-wheeler FULL of so many pumpkins! We would love your help in unloading all of these pumpkins. To help, simply show up at 12:30 pm on the front lawn of the church facing Walnut Creek across from Walgreens. When you arrive, you will be placed on a team and as signed a certain area of the patch to unload pumpkins. Pumpkin unloading is fun for the whole family! We have opportunities for all ages and abilities to help us set up The Patch! For more information, email us at students@fmcm.org.

We have several shifts a day for students/parents to serve at The Patch. Shifts are split up into 2-hour blocks every day. While you work the patch, help customers carry their pumpkins to their cars, measure pumpkins to determine the cost, help customers check out, etc. A member of our Student Ministry staff is available that day to help with any questions you may have. Anybody is welcome to work the patch! This is a great way to get service hours, and serve our community! We ask that any students below 9th grade have a parent or adult accompany them at the Patch
