2. Complete a Background Check (Only for 18 and older)

3. Attend Serving at First – All volunteers (14 and older) who serve through First Methodist and on mission trips are required to attend Serving at First training. This one-hour class prepares you to serve, teaches the basics of our church’s mission, gives direction for spiritual leadership, and provides Safe Sanctuary training. Following the class, those seeking a place to serve will receive guidance for the next steps. Contact Michelle Gery for more information at michelleg@fmcm.org.
