What are Restoration Community Groups?
Our Restoration Community groups are designed to provide a safe, healing space where we can connect with others and find a supportive community. Connecting with a supportive group can help us with feelings of loneliness, shame, guilt, and fear; can reduce stress, depression, anxiety, and despair; and can help us practice healthy coping skills for our struggles with addictions, grief, etc.
Restoration Community Groups
Recovery Groups will utilize the 12 steps and RC messages for discussion. These groups are for anyone who is seeking community and support as they cope in healthy ways with the realities of anxiety, depression, addictions, struggles, and pains we experience in life.
- Men’s recovery group – meet in C 9
- Women’s recovery groups – meet in C 10 & C 11
Breast Cancer Group – Have you or someone you know been affected by breast cancer? The Breast Cancer Group offers both support and resources for those who are fighting breast cancer. This group meets at 7:00 pm on the 2nd Monday of the month in room C 7.
Caregiver’s Group – Are you providing care for a family member or friend? Caring for loved ones creates challenges for family caregivers that bring increasing responsibilities and demands on time. Join us for a time of fellowship, support, and encouragement with others in the same season of life. This group meets via Zoom. Email Debbie Black for the Zoom link.
Grief Support – These groups meet twice a month for ongoing support, comfort, and community. If you have any questions, please email us at email@example.com.
- Our Daytime Grief Support will meet on Wednesday mornings from 10:45 am – 12:00 pm in room C6.
- Our Evening Grief Support will meet on Thursday evenings from 7:30 – 8:30 pm in room C8. We also have a worship time in the Chapel on Thursdays led by Pastor Caesar from 6:30 – 7:30 pm which you are welcome to attend.
