REMEMBRANCE SERVICE
December 8th  •  4:00 PM  •  Chapel
In our Remembrance Service we gather together to remember that we are not alone in our grief, our tears and our memories. The light of Christ meets us with hope in the darkness as we light a candle in remembrance of our loved ones who have passed away.
You, your family, and friends are invited to our Remembrance Service on Sunday, December 8 at 4:00PM in our Chapel. If you would like, you may email a photo of your loved one to be included in a special moment of remembrance during the service. Please include your loved one’s first and last name and email to care@fmcm.org by December 1. You may also bring a photo of your loved one to the Remembrance Service to place near the candle you will light in their memory.

Our Remembrance Tree will be available now!  You will find it near the Walnut Creek Drive entrance of Building C, our Chapel Building. Stop by any time of day to write your loved one’s name on an ornament and place the ornament on the Remembrance Tree. Seating will be available for you to pause, remember and give thanks to God for your loved one.

Our Pastoral Care Team is here to support you throughout the year, and especially when life seems heavy and overwhelming in the holiday season. If you are in need of prayer or would like to talk with a pastor, please contact us at care@fmcm.org. We would love to help!

Join Pastor Jan as we explore the book of Jonah, featuring a dedicated holy man who is about to face an unexpected challenge from God—one that he can hardly comprehend. In “The Epic of Eden: Jonah,” Dr. Sandra Richter takes us on a journey through Jonah’s life, revealing that our understanding of God is much too limited. Not only will we learn about the brutal Assyrians of Nineveh, ancient seafaring ships, and large aquatic creatures, but we will also confront the same message that faced Jonah. We will discover how to let God be God, step out of our comfort zones, and embrace a calling that may lead us to the farthest edges of the world we know. Register and Order your study guide HERE! Childcare is available with registration HERE!
