CELEBRATE RECOVERY
Thursdays • 6:30 PM • Chapel
Celebrate Recovery is a biblical centered 12 step program that helps us overcome our hurts, hang-ups and habits and is a safe place. Here at First Methodist Mansfield, we believe that we are all in recovery from something. We all experience stress, loss, pain, grief, and hurts throughout our lives. When we are struggling or in pain, it is natural and easy to feel more isolated and find it harder to cope. Our hope is that through life’s toughest times and challenges, you find in us a community to meet you where you are and walk beside you through this special recovery based ministry.
Celebrate Recovery meets every Thursday night at 6:30 and have childcare from ages 6 weeks – 4th grade. If you would like more information, please email us at celebraterecovery@fmcm.org. You can also visit our website here.

This event is open to everybody so invite all of your neighbors and friends to come.
Here is How You Can Help:
- Save A Spot: Last year we had thousands of people from our congregation and community on our campus for this fun event. This year we want to invite you to gather your family, friends, small group, class, teams and save some spots in our parking lot to host some fall fun! You can set up and decorate trunks, use lawn chairs and card tables, host a game, and so much more. Awards will be given out to those who show the most fall fun! We can’t wait to see how creative everybody can be. The more saved spaces, the more fun for our congregation and community. To save a spot, fill out this quick form.
- Donate Candy: we would love for you to donate some candy/treats. Bring a bag or two to our church atrium before the big day.
- Setup or Clean Up: Be part of our setup or clean up crew! Email info@fmcm.org if you are interested.

KAIROS PRISON MINISTRY – COOKIE DROP-OFF
October 28th & 29th • All Services • Atrium
Kairos Weekend November 2 – 5
Give the gift of cookies! Our Kairos Prison Ministry is in need of 3,000 DOZEN cookies for the upcoming Kairos Weekend later on this month. This simple offering of cookies actually has a deeper meaning. Each inmate at the Boyd unit will receive a dozen cookies, then each person going through the Kairos Weekend will receive another dozen cookies for themselves, and then another dozen cookies to give to somebody else they have wronged. The cookies we give as a church serve as a symbol of grace and forgiveness. How incredible is that?
Cookies will be collected the weekend of October 28th and 29th at our Ministry Corner located in our Atrium. If you are interested in baking cookies for this ministry, visit our website at FMCM.org/Kairos to see the specific guidelines.
