VACATION BIBLE CAMP 2026

THEME: KINGDOM QUEST

An epic journey to discover God’s Kingdom

REGISTRATION OPENS APRIL 1

LOOKING FOR SOMETHING MEANINGFUL THIS SUMMER?

Summer is fun, but it can also feel overwhelming. Kids are home more, routines disappear, screen time increases, and parents start looking for something that is not just entertaining, but purposeful.

Vacation Bible Camp at First Methodist Mansfield is designed to give kids a week they will love and parents can feel confident about.

VBC is a place where kids are known, included, encouraged, and taught biblical truth in ways they can understand and apply to their everyday lives.

This year, kids will go on a Kingdom Quest, discovering who God is, what it means to follow Jesus, and how they can live as part of God’s Kingdom.

WHY PARENTS CHOOSE VBC

VBC is not just something to fill the morning. It is a week intentionally designed to help kids grow spiritually, socially, and emotionally.

Parents choose VBC because:

  • Their child is in a safe, structured, and positive environment
  • Kids build real friendships and feel a sense of belonging
  • Faith is taught in a way that connects to real life
  • Kids come home excited about what they learned

For four mornings, your child will experience encouragement, fun, and truth that lasts beyond summer.

WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL EXPERIENCE EACH DAY

Large Group Worship and Teaching
Kids engage in high-energy worship, creative storytelling, and interactive Bible teaching that brings Scripture to life.

Small Groups That Build Connection
Every child is placed in a consistent small group led by a caring shepherd who helps them feel known, welcomed, and valued all week long.

Hands-On Rotations
Crafts, recreation, and snacks reinforce the daily Bible focus in fun and memorable ways while keeping kids active and engaged.

A Safe and Trusted Environment
All volunteers are trained and background-checked. Our team is committed to creating a welcoming space where every child feels secure and supported.

On the final day of VBC, families are invited to stay for an extended celebration during the last hour as we wrap up the week together.

WHO CAN ATTEND

VBC is open to all children who have completed Pre-K through 4th grade during the 2025–2026 school year.

We follow MISD age guidelines. Children must have turned 4 years old by September 1, 2025, to be eligible for the Pre-K class.

VBC Registration FAQ

INCLUDED MINISTRY AND INCLUDED JR

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience God’s love in a way that works best for them.

We are excited to offer Included Jr Special Needs VBC for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Included Jr provides a supportive and adaptive environment with trained volunteers, sensory supports, and flexible programming designed to meet each child’s individual needs.

Families will be able to share specific needs during registration so our Included Ministry team can best serve their child.

HAVE A CHILD AGES 1-4?

If you have a child ages 1–4 and want them to attend WEE VBC, serving at Vacation Bible Camp is required.

WEE VBC is available exclusively for parents and guardians who are serving on the VBC Serving Team. This allows us to provide a safe, consistent, and well-staffed experience for our youngest campers.

While you serve, your child will be cared for in a loving, age-appropriate environment with Bible stories, music, play, and attentive supervision by trained leaders. Your child will be nearby, allowing you to serve with confidence and peace of mind.

How WEE VBC Registration Works

  1. Sign up to serve with the VBC Serving Team
  2. Once your serving registration is complete, you will receive a special link to register your child for WEE VBC from 9:00 am–12:00 pm

SERVE AT VBC AND MAKE A LASTING IMPACT

Vacation Bible Camp would not be possible without our incredible volunteers.

Adults and students who will be in 5th grade or older during the 2025–2026 school year are invited to serve. Whether you enjoy leading kids, helping behind the scenes, or welcoming families, there is a place for you.

Serving at VBC is one of the most meaningful ways to invest in the next generation. You will build relationships, grow in your faith, and play a part in a week that shapes kids’ lives.

Volunteers receive a free VBC t-shirt as a thank-you for serving.
