EPIC OF EDEN BIBLE STUDY (JONAH)
Beginning January 28th • 6:30pm • Registration Required
Join Pastor Jan as we explore the book of Jonah, featuring a dedicated holy man who is about to face an unexpected challenge from God—one that he can hardly comprehend. In “The Epic of Eden: Jonah,” Dr. Sandra Richter takes us on a journey through Jonah’s life, revealing that our understanding of God is much too limited. Not only will we learn about the brutal Assyrians of Nineveh, ancient seafaring ships, and large aquatic creatures, but we will also confront the same message that faced Jonah. We will discover how to let God be God, step out of our comfort zones, and embrace a calling that may lead us to the farthest edges of the world we know. Register here.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY BIBLE STUDY – NOW AND NOT YET
Begins January 22nd • 6:30pm • Registration Required
Have you ever wondered if your current season has a purpose? Do you ever feel like your present moment is so far from where you long to be, but the answer to all your prayers is “not yet”? Join Women’s Ministry for this six-session video Bible study as we learn how to live in the present and trust in God’s faithfulness—even while hoping for the future. Now and Not Yet Bible Study explores six profound ways God makes His faithfulness known in the biblical stories of Abraham, Joseph, Israel, Hannah, and the Apostle Paul. As you encounter God through the pages of His Word, you’ll see His ways, His character, His purposes, and His faithfulness in the lives of His people. And the more we understand God’s ways, the more we will discover He’s just as faithful in our lives right now—even more than we know. Register here.

Please place these items in one of the Big Blue Bins found around our campus. If you are interested in donating, here is a list of the items we try to keep in stock at all times:
Boxed Cereal, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Canned Fruit, Canned Vegetables, Protein Soups, Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Rice, Canned or Dry Beans, Canned Chicken, Canned Tuna, Hamburger/Tuna Helper, and Individual Snack Items.

CONFIRMATION

Confirmation is a time of spiritual growth in which 6th-grade students (and older) explore the foundations of the Christian faith with their peers and mentors. Throughout their confirmation journey, students will begin to see what faith means to them and what it means to be a confirmed member of First Methodist Mansfield. Confirmation meets for 10 seasons during the spring semester (starting on February 2nd) and concludes with a retreat at Glen Lake Camp (May 2-3) and a Confirmation Service (May 4). At the Confirmation Service, students affirm their response to God’s grace and proclaim faith in Christ and their baptismal covenant. Registration is now open!
