It’s time to say, “Thank you, Jesus.”

Dear First Family, 
 
Before you gather around your tables for Thanksgiving next Thursday, we will be gathering around our table this weekend. 
 
In this season of gratitude, we will be sharing Holy Communion together in a special service unlike any other we have throughout the year. Our conviction is that the perfect picture of the intended goal of the life that we share together is when we all come to the table of the Lord to participate in this holy meal. 
 
With all our faults and frailties, we come to bow before the Lord, to acknowledge our shared need and once again say, 
 
“Thank you, Jesus.” 
 
I hope those simple words will be on your heart today and in the days to come as we prepare to gather again in worship this weekend.

This weekend will also mark the beginning of one of the most beautiful expressions of our Life Together with our annual Angel Tree. All are invited to participate in this opportunity to adopt and bless one of our Angels this Christmas.
