NEXT-GEN MINISTRY
Back to School Prayer
August 14th • 9:00 AM • Loft
Join us in the loft for a time of coffee & pastries, prayer, and maybe even a few tears as the new school year begins!  At 9:15 am we will gather as a large group to pray for a successful and safe school year for all students, staff, and parents.  All are welcome to join, so bring your friends and family who are available and would like to be part of this special morning.   This is a great opportunity to meet other parents from our community, as well as some of our Next-Gen staff, so we hope to see you there!
 

Promotion Weekend and Backpack Blessings
August 17th & 18th • All Services
Promotion Weekend is this weekend and we can’t wait to celebrate all of our children and students moving up into their new classes and groups. Our Next-Gen Staff will be available to help with this transition and make sure your children and students find where they need to go. This weekend we are also doing our back-to-school backpack blessings for our Pre-K through 4th graders. We encourage the kids to bring their backpacks with them to church on Saturday at 6:00 pm, or Sunday morning at either 9:30 am or 11:00 am, for a special backpack blessing and gift.  We will also have some fun photo booths set up in Building A to take some great back-to-school photos!

The Big Event
August 21st • 6:30 PM • Sanctuary
Our Next Gen Team is excited to introduce you to all we have to offer during our Big Event! Join us on Wednesday, August 21st in the Sanctuary first as we give a quick overview of our Children’s Ministry, Student Ministry, and Included Special Needs Ministry. After that short time is finished, you are invited to go to our designated ministry spaces to experience all that each of our ministries has to offer and meet all of our Family Ministry Staff. This Big Event is open to all families who have children ages birth to 12th grade, those who have special needs children and adults, and anybody interested in learning more about these growing ministries and how you can get involved. This is a great way to connect with other families and learn how to pour into the next generation!

Habits of the Household Study

This 7-week study will discover simple practices to infuse daily routines with faith and draw your family closer to God.

This fall we will be reading through the book of Acts together. Our pastors lead this ongoing one-hour study.  
No registration is needed, just show up with your Bible to the Chapel. This opportunity is also available online. 

Women’s Ministry: Untangle Your Emotions

Divorce Care
Begins August 28th  •   6:30 – 8:00 PM  •   Building D101
Join us for a 13-week class starting Wednesday, August 28th. Divorce Care will help you face your challenges and move toward rebuilding your life in a different season. Maybe you’ve been divorced for some time but you realize you’re still struggling with unresolved emotions. Maybe you are newly separated and need a community to surround you at this time.  This class might be for you. It’s the next step in finding help, discovering hope, and experiencing healing. Journey Through Grief
Begins September 12 • 10 AM and 6:30 PM •  Building D101
If you are grieving a loss in your life, we want to invite you to attend our 6-week Journey Through Grief class. This class is for those who have experienced any kind of loss and provides tools and a supportive environment to understand and cope with the grief process. We are offering two sessions starting on September 12th, a day and an evening session.  Childcare is provided for the evening session. Find out more information and register at this link.
