HOLY WEEK SERVICES & EVENTS

Join us as we prepare our hearts for Easter morning with these amazing events and services:

Good Friday Service on April 3

7:00 pm • Sanctuary

Take a journey to the cross with us for a service filled with liturgy, prayer, and music. The miracle on Easter does not happen without our journey to the cross. We hope you make plans to join us in person or online.

Holy Thursday Service on April 2

7:00 pm • Sanctuary

Gather for a Holy Thursday service centered on Holy Communion, remembering the Last Supper when Jesus first shared this sacred meal with his disciples. Our Traditional Worship Arts Team—choir, orchestra, and bells—will lead us in meaningful music, creating a reflective and moving evening of worship in person or online.

Foot Washing on April 2

5:00 – 7:00 pm • The Gallery (Bldg B)

We invite you to experience a personal moment of reflection and humility through a foot or hand-washing. Inspired by Jesus’ act of washing His disciples’ feet at the Last Supper, this simple, yet powerful tradition reminds us of the call to love and serve one another.

The foot or hand-washing will be done by a member of our Care Ministry team, and you can come and go as you wish. There will be no formal service—just a moment for each individual to experience this meaningful gesture of humility and love.

Labyrinth on April 2 and 3

3:00 – 9:00 pm • Sanctuary Atrium

Whether you are seeking a quiet moment to center yourself or an opportunity for deeper spiritual reflection, walking the indoor labyrinth provides a meaningful way to connect with God on Holy Thursday and Good Friday.

As you walk through its winding paths, it can serve as a reminder of both the challenges and grace we experience in our relationship with God!

This is a self-guided experience—there will be no formal program or service. We invite you to come any time during the designated hours for space to reflect and prayer.

Risen! Easter Celebration on March 28

10:00 am – 12:00 pm • The Gym & Back Porch

Kids Ministry and Included Jr invite all kids and families to our Risen! Easter Celebration. Join us for a fun morning celebrating Easter with games, activities, and connection.

Interested in supporting this event? We invite the congregation to donate items through our Amazon Wishlist to help us create a great experience for the families who attend.

Welcome to First Methodist Mansfield!

Thank you for being a part of our Easter celebrations and we hope you feel warmly welcomed! Today, we celebrate that the stone was rolled away. The tomb is empty. Jesus has defeated death!

Whatever brings you to our church, we pray the time of celebrating Easter will be a rich blessing for you.
