Christmas at
First Methodist Mansfield

A Christmas Celebration • In-Person & Online

We cannot wait to celebrate the Hope of Christmas with you and your family. This year we are offering 11 services over two days so that we can provide plenty of room for everybody to worship with one another. Our December 23rd services are perfect for those of you who work on Christmas Eve, want to avoid large gatherings or have another tradition on Christmas Eve. All of our services will also be offered online if that is your preference. Below is a description of all of the services and the times they are offered.

If you would like to volunteer, this is a great event!  Christmas is almost here, and we are expecting a record number of people this year in all our Christmas Eve services. Would you and your family be interested in serving as a greeter? You can give the gift of hospitality to our community. We would love your help in serving this Christmas season.

Each year, our Christmas Eve offering goes towards our ministry partner, ZOE. ZOE transforms the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children through a three-year empowerment program, guiding them from poverty and neglect to self-sufficiency and community. It is one of the most powerful examples of transformation through empowerment. Our church has partnered with ZOE for over 11 years helping a total of 15 groups while transforming and empowering over 5740 children in Rwanda, India, Zimbabwe, and Guatemala. Your offering this Christmas Eve will go towards helping many others through this life-changing program.

Gather as a family every day through the Advent season to read the story of how God sent joy to the world with the gift of His Son, Jesus. Also, spread some joy as a family by doing the Advent activities. The activities can be done daily, or when time permits. The activities are not numbered so you can pick and choose what works best or cut them apart and draw them randomly. We pray this resource will bring your family closer to God and each other through the Christmas season.
