Pumpkin Patch

The Patch is open! This year we’re hosting several fun events and opportunities out at the patch. Come enjoy games, take photos, and pick out your perfect pumpkin.

Fall Family Extravaganza

Join us for our Fall Family Extravaganza from 10am – 1pm. Our whole parking lot will be covered with trunks, treats, and tons of fun. This event is open to everyone, so invite all of your neighbors and friends!

Celebrate Recovery

If you’re facing hurts, habits, or struggles, you don’t have to walk alone. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered 12-step program where you’ll find healing, hope, and a supportive community.

Included Jr. @ The Patch

Kids and students with special needs—and their families—are invited to a fun evening at our Pumpkin Patch on Wednesday, October 1st! Enjoy sensory-friendly activities, pumpkin decorating, photo opportunities, and time to connect with other families.

Snack Stop

We hope you plan on coming hungry to our Fall Family Extravaganza as you join us at the Included Snack Stop! This fundraiser benefits our Included Special Needs Ministry here at First Methodist Mansfield. Your donations help support the many programs and events they hold throughout the year.

Included Jr. Midweek

We are excited to introduce Included Jr. Midweek, starting October 8th! Midweek programming is designed to meet the needs of all our participants while offering sensory-friendly options similar to our kid’s programming. It will be a night full of crafts, activities, snacks and more. We have a place for you and your family!

Little Explorers @ The Patch

Parents and kids – the morning of October 10th is just for you! Create fun fall memories together painting pumpkins and enjoying story time with a friendly scarecrow. Kids will also love fall stickers, giveaways, and a raffle while parents can sip coffee and grab a snack.

Science Night

Kids won’t want to miss Science Night on October 11 from 6–7 PM! They’ll enjoy exciting hands-on experiments and activities while parents attend our Saturday Night Service. It’s the perfect night to bring a friend and experience the fun of Kids Ministry!

Invite Night

Kids are invited to bring their friends for an unforgettable night at Midweek Worship—filled with laughter, games, fall fun, and memories made together at The Pumpkin Patch on October 15th at 6:30.

First Sunday Dinner

This is an evening designed just for high school students, where real conversations meet real community, starting at 6:30 on October 5th in The Loft. Over a shared meal, we’ll dive into meaningful, Christ-centered discussions about life, faith, and everything in between. Bring a dish to share and come hungry for good food and even better conversation!

Fields of Faith

Join First Methodist Students at Fields of Faith at RL Anderson Stadium on October 8th at 6:00 pm for a powerful evening of worship and fellowship with the community! We will have a space set up with activities and food, and the program will be tailored to students. We can’t wait to worship together!

Nerf  War

Join us for an epic Humans vs. Zombies NERF WAR! Bring your own NERF blaster, and get ready for an action-packed night of fun and friendly competition. Don’t have a NERF blaster? No worries—we’ve got a handful of extras to share! Plus, we’ll enjoy some pizza together. You won’t want to miss this event on October 26th from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

Colors for Cancer

Throughout the month of October, we are honoring those whose lives have been touched by cancer. Stop by the Atrium to pick up a God is Big Enough wristband in the color that represents your journey or that of a loved one.

Journey Through Grief

If you are grieving a loss in your life, we want to invite you to attend one of our 6-week Journey Through Grief classes beginning on October 16th.  In this class, we will walk with you through the different stages of your grief. You are not alone in this journey and your new way of life. We understand how deeply grief and loss affect people and families. We want you to know that you are not alone. Day and Evening groups available
