Men’s Groups

Men in their 50s, 60s, and 70s - Band of Brothers begins their morning with coffee and friendly conversation starting at 6:30 AM on Saturday mornings in Building C. They then move to Room 11 around 7:30 AM for weekly Bible study.

Men in their 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s, meeting in Building C Room 11 Thursdays 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM for Bible study and group discussion.

Men who have completed the Walk to Emmaus retreat, meeting in C-8, Thursdays 8:00 - 9:00 AM.

The Emmaus group reunion is a small accountability group of two to six persons who have usually participated in the three-day Walk to Emmaus and who want to continue their pursuit of a life lived wholly in the grace of God. These small follow-up groups help pilgrims translate the message conveyed on the Walk to Emmaus weekend into a daily walk with Christ. With the regular support of a few faithful friends, the gift of God's love in Jesus Christ becomes a lifestyle of Christian discipleship through the threefold discipline of piety, study, and action.

Tuesday evenings | 7:00 PM | Building C
The Mansfield Men's Chapter of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) International will meet at First United Methodist Church on Tuesday evenings. BSF offers worldwide, non-denominational, in-depth, small-group Bible studies led by trained group leaders, with the aim of producing passionate commitment to Christ, His Word, and His Church. All courses are offered free of charge, but advocate a daily time commitment of personal study to prepare for the weekly group discussion.

Men wishing to bring their kids (aged 6 to 18 years) can enroll them in the School Program.

The Saturday Morning Men's Book Study at FMCM is a small group of men (age ranging from 35 to 60) who select a book (approximately a book a month 6 weeks) to read (or listen), recap, and discuss. They meet in Building A Saturday mornings from 8:00 -9:30 AM as well as offsite.

This group of men was brought together out of two shared interests; the love of God and the pursuit of growing in their faith, and secondly the love of learning and studying. Although all have Christian content, the books have ranged from biographies and history to leadership and Bible commentary.

All you need is to grab the current book we are studying, bring a good cup of coffee, and dive in with your thoughts and learnings. We share, pray for one another, and mostly have fun learning all we can about how to be better men, husbands, fathers, and followers of Christ.

Men in their 60s, 70s, and 80s gather for LifeGuide Bible study and fellowship activities. This group meets in person on Tuesday mornings from 7:30 - 8:30 AM in C-8.
