We will also be taking this opportunity to collect new teddy bears to donate to Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth.  If you would like to participate, please bring a new stuffed bear (without scents or electronics) to the event on December 3rd, and our team will deliver the bears Cook Children’s Hospital.  Let’s see how many bears we can donate to the kids who need them most!

ANGEL TREE OPPORTUNITIES
Gift Return is this weekend!

Great news! Over the past two weeks our congregation adopted over 500 Angels representing families in our community, veterans, nursing home residents, and those that live at the Methodist Children’s Home. Thank you to all of those who adopted one of these angels. Please remember to bring your gifts this weekend to worship! For those of you who are still interested in donating towards our Angel Tree, you are welcome to make a gift on our website here. You, your family, and friends are invited to our Remembrance Service on Sunday, December 10th at 4:00 PM in our Sanctuary. If you would like, you may email a photo of your loved one to be included in a special moment of remembrance during the service. Please include your loved one’s first and last name and email to care@fmcm.org by December 8th. You may also bring a photo of your loved one to the Remembrance Service to place near the candle you will light in their memory. Seating will be available for you to pause, remember and give thanks to God for your loved one. Our Remembrance Tree will be available beginning December 1st. You will find it near the Walnut Creek Drive entrance of Building C, our Chapel Building. Stop by any time of day to write your loved one’s name on an ornament and place the ornament on the Remembrance Tree.
Our Pastoral Care Team is here to support you throughout the year, and especially when life seems heavy and overwhelming in the holiday season. If you are in need of prayer or would like to talk with a pastor, please contact us at care@fmcm.org. We would love to help!
