Holy Week is Almost Here!

Just a reminder, we will not be having Pastors Bible Study this week due to it being Spring Break. We hope you enjoy this beautiful weather and time off and we look forward to seeing you next Wednesday as we continue our journey through 1Peter. 

SERVE WITH US ON EASTER
We are excited that Easter is almost here! Help us give the gift of hospitality to our community by serving as a greater at one of our worship services. This is an opportunity for your whole family to serve with you. If you are interested in serving with us, simply fill out this form and a member of our Guest Services team will be in contact with you. 

HOLY WEEK AT FIRST METHODIST MANSFIELD
RISE AND SHINE FAMILY FUN EVENT
March 23 • 9:00 am • Church campus 
Make plans to be a part of our Rise & Shine Family Fun Easter event! This event is open to our whole community as we look forward to celebrating our risen Savior! Share in the joy of the resurrection with fun activities for all ages. From interactive experiences that tell the story of Easter, food, games, bounce houses, candy, and more; it will be a morning filled with laughter, love, and the hope of Easter. Email info@fmcm.org for more information. We are collecting individually wrapped pieces of candy for this event. If you would like to donate candy, you can bring it by our church office (951 N.Walnut Creek Dr.) or you can bring it this weekend to worship.

Join us for Holy Thursday as we observe Holy Communion where Jesus first used the sacrament at the Last Supper.

“Come to the Cross” is a musical drama offered by our choir, orchestra and special guest soloists to bring to life the events that led to the crucifixion of Christ.

We believe Easter is one of the greatest opportunities and most powerful to reach others.  There are three worship services on Easter – each of them taking part in our own community. JUST US GIRLS

Just Us Girls is an evening designed specifically for 5-8th grade girls! Join us on April 5th in The LOFT from 5:00-7:00 pm for an evening of food, fun, and good conversation centered around being a girl, and the challenges that come with middle school. Middle school isn’t easy… it’s when you’re figuring out who you are, who you hang out with, and what you believe. Sign up for this fun evening HERE

PARENT’S AND TEEN TECHNOLOGY SAFETY NIGHT 
April 10th  •  6:30 – 8:00 pm  •  Building A: The Loft
Join us for an insightful evening focused on navigating the digital landscape and setting healthy tech norms with your teen. This important event will be held in place of regular Wednesday evening programming and parents and their 5th-12th graders are encouraged to attend.

Guest Speaker: Shane Trotter – Author of “Setting The Bar” Topics will include tech boundaries and parental controls, screen time, smartphones and mental health, technological cultural influences, information overload management, and AI and the 21st-century workforce. We hope you can join us, but you must register for the event! Childcare is also available for kindergarten and younger with registration (1st-4th graders are welcome to join Children’s Ministry Wednesday evening programming). Please register HERE.

Attention all students 6th grade and older as well as adults, come be a part of our next Hands of Christ day! Hands of Christ ministry helps with minor home repairs for the elderly and disabled in the Mansfield community. We have an incredible panel that you will love hearing them tell stories of…
     – Scaling their business from one restaurant to over 20
     – Is Artificial Intelligence going to impact me in my career
