Happy Thanksgiving!

Dear First Family, 
 
In advance of the day we set aside each year to gather with family and friends to give thanks, I want you to know that I am giving thanks for each of you. I’m grateful for your faithfulness, the love you have for your church and for one another, and your generous support of the mission and ministry that we share. 
 
We believe that God has called us for a sacred purpose. Our life is centered around our work of Making and Maturing Disciples of Jesus Christ who love God, love others and serve the world. I am so proud of you and the work that we do towards the fulfillment of that mission and as I hope you have heard me say before, everything that we do, we do together. 
 
None of it would be possible without you. I hope you share in my pride in our shared work and the great honor it is to be a part of what God is doing through First Methodist Mansfield. 
 
And so, as we give thanks, I hope tomorrow you will also pray that God will continue to bless His church, that God would continue to give us an increasing faith and lead us into a deeper relationship with Him.
