Christmas season has arrived!

Dear First Family, 
 
Yesterday afternoon I had the chance to help our Serving & Outreach Team pick up over 1000 toys from our Mansfield Toys for Tots. In the coming weeks, we will be distributing these along with the gifts you will be bringing for the more than 400 angels you have adopted to help bless others in our community this Christmas. 
 
It is going to be another great year for our Angel Tree program. I am grateful for your participation. I also want to celebrate with you the way that God has used this church over the course of many decades to help shape our entire community’s generosity during this special season of the year. 
 
This is one more way that your leadership in serving has helped Mansfield become a community that serves. 
 
If you did not have a chance to adopt an angel this Christmas but would like to contribute towards this endeavor, you are welcome to make a gift on our website at fmcm.org/angeltree.
 
With December’s arrival, we are already preparing for all of our Christmas Eve services on December 23rd and 24th. You will see a full list of those below. I want to encourage you to find the service that will work best for you and consider who you might invite to be a part of one of these gatherings. 
 
Your generosity to our local community is matched by the offering we receive for ZOE, our ministry partner who works to empower orphans to a new life where they will never need charity again. 100% of the offerings received during our Christmas Eve services will be given to support the orphans communities we have adopted in Rwanda and India. 
 
Finally, I want to highlight that our Children’s Ministry will be hosting a Happy Birthday Jesus Pajama Party for all preschoolers starting at 4pm. You can RSVP here, and for more information you can contact our Children’s Ministry Team here. 
 
I look forward to seeing you in worship this weekend as we continue to prepare for the celebration of the gift God gave to the world in the child born in Bethlehem’s manger.
