We would love for you to join the fun on either our new Parking Lot team or Usher and Greeter team. This is a great way to serve your church with very little commitment. Welcome Home Dinner
Are you interested in becoming a member of First Methodist Mansfield? Have you joined in the past several months and want to get plugged in? We want to WELCOME YOU HOME by inviting you to our Welcome Home Dinner on Wednesday, August 27 at 6:30pm in the Gathering Room of Building D. During the dinner, pastors and staff members will be present to answer questions and help you connect to the different ministries and into the life of our church.

Hey, 5-12th grade students! Join us on Wednesdays during the school year for Midweek Worship from 6:30 – 8pm. We come together to worship, hear God’s Word, and build meaningful relationships. Our messages focus on biblical truths and how they connect with students’ lives. Above all, we want to create a fun environment for students to encounter Jesus and experience his love through community.

It’s a celebration! Kids Ministry is honoring our incoming Kindergarteners with a joyful sendoff into their next chapter on Sunday, August 3rd at 3pm. Each child will be gifted a brand-new Bible as we celebrate this exciting milestone with prayer, encouragement, and fun. Let’s launch them into this new season of faith together!

Backpack Blessings & Promotion Weekend

It’s time to move on up! We want to invite your children to join us during weekend worship as we bless their backpacks. Kids will then transition into their new grade levels as they prepare for a brand-new school year.

Join us for a time of coffee & pastries, prayer, and maybe even a few tears as the new school year begins! On August 13th at 9:15am we will gather as a large group in The Lounge (the space outside of The Loft in Building A), where we will pray for a successful and safe school year for all students, staff, and parents. All are welcome to join, so bring your friends and family who are available and would like to be part of this special morning. This is a great opportunity to meet other parents from our community, as well as some of the staff at FMCM, so we hope to see you there!

Divorce Care
FIND HELP. DISCOVER HOPE. EXPERIENCE HEALING.
Join us for a 13-week study class from August 27th – November 19th. In the Divorce Care group setting you will receive support in facing your challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Perhaps you’ve been through a divorce, but you’re still struggling with moving forward; this might be the group that can help you move past where you’re at. Come and Go Prayer
Are you looking for a quiet place to pray and start off your day? Join us in the chapel for a peaceful time of come-and-go prayer each Wednesday morning from 7:30 – 9:45, starting August 20th. A member of our prayer team will be available to pray with you if you would like, but you are invited to pray by yourself any way you are comfortable. Stop by before work, after school drop off, or before you grab your coffee and join us in prayer.

Labyrinth Prayer Walk
Walk with us! There will be a labyrinth set up in our church atrium on August 23rd from 9am – 4pm. This interactive experience provides a way for you to focus your mind on prayer through a guided walk in our atrium. Feel free to come and go as you please. This is a good experience for the whole family.
