CHURCH-WIDE EVENTS
Wesleyan Covenant Service • February 3rd and 4th at all worship service times. 

Join us for a special worship experience during all 3 of our worship services next weekend. The Wesleyan Covenant Service is a focused time of worship shared each year by the early Methodists to renew their commitment to live as God’s covenant people. Over 1800 gathered in London in 1755 to be a part of that first covenant renewal service and next week, we will be sharing in this service together as we renew our own commitment to Christ and to one another in this new year. 

Annual Church Meeting • February 4th • 3pm in the sanctuary

All are invited to our Annual Meeting for the church on Sunday, February 4th at 3pm in the sanctuary. We look forward to celebrating all that we accomplished together in 2023 as well as communicating our goals and vision for 2024 during our time together.  2023 has been a great year for First Methodist Mansfield, and we know that 2024 will be even better. If you are unable to make it in person, join us online! 

SABBATH PRACTICE RESOURCES
Over the past three weeks, we’ve focused on Sabbath Practices to do as part of our year-long journey centered around the theme of Sabbath. This week our practice is centered around a Sabbath Meal. Below are the images we used in worship to help guide us on how to have a Sabbath Meal that is set apart from all other gatherings and meals we would have this week. Feel free to download these images and use them as you gather.

Our United Student Ministry is launching several different programs and events, as well as starting yearly opportunities like Capstone and Confirmation, over the next several weeks.
