Pastor of Student Ministry
Michelle grew up in the beautiful Lake Travis area of Texas and went on to earn a BBA in Accounting from Baylor University. During her time at Baylor, she met Bryan, and they were married in 2007.
After graduation, Michelle worked as an auditor and accountant. Eventually she decided to step away from her career to stay home and raise their children during their early years. In 2011, she and Bryan joined First Methodist Mansfield, where Michelle quickly became involved in various ministries, teaching children and students, as well as leading women’s ministry.
In 2018, Michelle began working part-time with First Methodist Mansfield’s Student Ministry, before transitioning to a full-time role in Adult Discipleship. In 2024, Michelle returned to Student Ministry as its director, where she loves getting to guide young people in their spiritual growth.
Michelle’s heart is to help others discover the truth of who God is and understand their identity in Christ. She is deeply committed to engaging people with Scripture and helping them experience God’s presence personally. She loves creating spaces where individuals can encounter the holy, loving, merciful, and faithful God and grow in awareness of his work all around them. Michelle desires for everyone to live fully into the unique dream God has for their lives.
Currently, Michelle is pursuing a Master of Divinity at Baylor University’s Truett Theological Seminary, where she is also working toward a Certificate in Spiritual Direction.
Michelle and Bryan are parents to two wonderful boys, Brady and Austin. The family loves spending time outdoors, camping, visiting MLB ballparks, and cheering on Baylor’s basketball and football teams. When she has free time, Michelle enjoys hiking, reading, and live music.
