Pastor Don Scott

Pastor Don was born in Cleburne, Texas where his parents owned and operated a dairy farm. The whole family was very active at St. Mark’s UMC. After graduating from high school, Pastor Don earned a B.A. in History from Texas A&M where he was a member of the “Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band”. Originally intending to go to law school, he answered a call to ordained ministry and earned a Master’s of Divinity from Brite Divinity TCU.

Don has served 42 years in the Central Texas Conference at multiple churches and as a District Superintendent.

Don is married to Liz and they are the proud parents of Blaire and Patrick. Blaire and Chris Surley have two sons, Sam and Hudson, and also attend our church. Patrick and his wife Shannon have 3 children, Molly, Maggie, and Taylor.
