First Day – Making Room for Guests
What an incredible weekend! We welcomed several new families and had over 1,100 people in worship—praise God for all He is doing! As an act of hospitality, we invite you to park in our Remote Parking off Pleasant Ridge Dr. and ride the shuttle to the main campus. Every spot you leave open in our main lot creates space for a guest to feel welcome from the moment they arrive.

Hands of Christ – Serve This Saturday
This Saturday, over 20 volunteers will be serving with Hands of Christ to bless a local family with five kids through a landscaping project. There’s still room for you to jump in! Click here to sign up and be part of showing Christ’s love in a tangible way.

Prayer Guides – Over 2,000 Shared!
In just five weeks, more than 2,000 prayer guides have been shared—what an amazing response! These Field Guides are helping our church family and community grow in prayer and deepen their walk with God. If you’d like to support the printing of future guides, you can give through this link.

Kids Invite Nite : Color War

Get ready for an unforgettable night of color, laughter, and fun at Midweek Worship! Kids are encouraged to bring friends for this high-energy evening designed to build friendships, create a space where everyone belongs, and grow in faith together. Don’t forget to wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy, and bring a towel, water bottle, and a friend!

MansPhil Orchestra Concert

Experience an unforgettable evening as the Mansfield Philharmonic opens its 2025-26 season with “The Sounds of Greatness” on Sunday, September 28 at 6 PM in the Sanctuary. This powerful concert will feature Schubert’s monumental Symphony No. 9—often nicknamed “The Great”—alongside Mozart’s elegant Piano Concerto No. 22, performed by acclaimed pianist Dr. Eldred Marshall.

This season-opening performance promises a night filled with heroic melodies, soaring harmonies, and the incredible artistry of Mansfield’s own volunteer musicians. Best of all, this concert is free and open to the entire community. Bring your family and friends for an evening of music that will inspire and uplift your spirit as we kick off a new season together.

Pumpkin Patch

Our Student Ministry has been hosting the Pumpkin Patch for just under a gazillion years and serves as our only fundraiser for the Student Ministry. It is not only a fundraiser, but it is also a great opportunity for our Student Ministries to connect with our community.

The money we raise goes directly into our Student Missions fund that allows us to keep the registration cost down for Mission Week, as well as providing several scholarships a year for students to attend Mission Week.

September 29 – October 31

Every fall, we host a pumpkin patch on our campus at the corner of Walnut Creek and Pleasant Ridge! We have many visitors on our campus during Pumpkin Patch season, and we are happy to provide this experience for our community. Come hang out in the patch, play games, take a few photos, and pick out your perfect pumpkin!

Proceeds from the sales at the patch go toward missions for First Methodist Students and First Methodist Included Special Needs. This helps fund Mission Week, where we serve our Mansfield community in big ways!

The Pumpkin Patch is open every day from September 29th – October 31st from 9:00 am – 7:00 pm.

Serve at the Patch

There are several shifts a day for students/parents to serve at The Patch! Shifts are split up into 2-hour blocks every day and involve simple tasks: helping customers carry their pumpkins to their cars, measuring pumpkins to determine their cost, helping customers check out, etc. A member of Student Ministry staff will be available to help with any questions.

Fall Family Extravaganza

Be Part of the Fun – Sign Up to Host a Trunk!
Our Fall Family Extravaganza is Saturday, October 25 from 10:00 am–1:00 pm, and we need your help to make it unforgettable! You can play a key role by decorating a trunk and joining the fun as we fill the parking lot with treats, games, and smiles for our community.
