National Day of Prayer is on Thursday

WELCOME HOME DINNER

Are you interested in becoming a member of First Methodist Mansfield? Have you joined over the past few months and are looking to get plugged in? We want to WELCOME YOU HOME by inviting you to our Welcome Home Dinner on Wednesday, April 30 at 6:30pm in the Gathering Room of Building D. NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER
May 1st   •  6 pm  
Join us in prayer! At 6:00 pm there will be two community-wide gatherings at both Methodist Mansfield and Texas Health Hospitals. We want to encourage you to join us at Texas Health where our very own choir will be signing. and prayer time at each location before doing a prayer walk around the hospital.

JOURNEY THROUGH GRIEF
Night Session Starting May 1st  •  6:30 – 8:00 pm 
If you are grieving a loss in your life, whether the loss of a loved one, a job, a divorce, etc. We want to invite you to attend Journey Through Grief.  Journey Through Grief is a 6-week class for those who have experienced any kind of loss by providing tools and a supportive environment to understand and cope with the grief process. You are not alone in this journey and your new way of life. Our facilitators for this class understand how deeply grief and loss affect people and families, and we would like to share resources to help during this time as we walk with you. Childcare is available for the night session.

CONFIRMATION SERVICE
May 4th   •   3:00 – 5:00 pm  •   Sanctuary 
All are welcome to join us in witnessing the final step for our 2025 Confirmands! They will affirm their response to God’s grace and proclaim faith in Christ and their baptismal covenant. During this celebration service, Pastor David will lead family and friends to pray over each of our newest members who have completed this journey. 

MOTHERS DAY WEEKEND
May 10th and 11th  
Mothers and Women of Faith, we want to celebrate you! Join us on Mother’s Day Weekend at one of our four worship services as we honor the faithfulness of all the women who have blessed our lives. We will have special gifts for all women who are present, muffins and flavored teas outside our worship venues, and many different photo opportunities. Additionally we will have a “Mothers in the Faith” Prayer Wall in honor or memory of Mothers. Join us for this special weekend. 

HANDS OF CHRIST
May 17th  •   8:00 am – 12:00 pm  •   Building D  
Hands of Christ ministry help with minor home repairs for the elderly and disabled in the Mansfield community. Volunteers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to serve – there is something for everyone to do! If you are looking for ways to get involved and serve your neighbors, we’d love to have you!
