FALL FAMILY EXTRAVAGANZA
October 26th • 3:00 – 5:00 PM • Church Parking Lot
Do you want to help us reach our community in a powerful way? Get out your calendars and save the date Saturday, October 26th is going to be a blast! Join us for our Fall Family Extravaganza from 3:00 – 5:00 pm on our main campus parking lot. This is a great event open to our where our whole community comes to our campus to join in the fun. Our entire parking lot will be covered with trunks, trucks, treats, and tons of fun.
Here is How You Can Help:
Save A Spot: Last year we had thousands of people from our congregation and community on our campus for this fun event. This year we want to invite you to gather your family, friends, small group, class, and teams and save some spots in our parking lot to host some fall fun! You can set up and decorate trunks, use lawn chairs and card tables, host a game, and so much more. Awards will be given out to those who show the most fall fun! We can’t wait to see how creative everybody can be. The more saved spaces, the more fun for our congregation and community. To save a spot, fill out this quick form.
Donate Candy: we would love for you to donate some candy/treats. Bring a bag or two to our church atrium before the big day. You can also visit our Amazon Wishlist and purchase an item or two from there that can be used during the event.
Head over to our Included Snack Stop during the event: We hope you plan on coming hungry to our Fall Family Extravaganza as you join us at the Included Snack Stop. This fundraiser benefits our Included Special Needs Ministry here at First Methodist Mansfield. Your donations help support the many programs and events they hold throughout the year. October 26th & 27th • During All Services
Give the gift of cookies! Our Kairos Prison Ministry is in need of 3,000 DOZEN cookies for the upcoming Kairos Weekend later on this month. This simple offering of cookies actually has a deeper meaning. Each inmate at the Boyd unit will receive a dozen cookies, then each person going through the Kairos Weekend will receive another dozen cookies for themselves, and then another dozen cookies to give to somebody else they have wronged. The cookies we give as a church serve as a symbol of grace and forgiveness. How incredible is that?
During the weekend of October 26th and 27th we will have information in the worship space about this opportunity. Cookies are due back the following weekend, November 2nd and 3rd. If you are interested in baking cookies for this ministry or would like to know more about how you can serve, visit our website at fmcm.org/kairos.

PUMPKINS ARE HERE
fmcm.org/pumpkins
Our pumpkin patch is officially open and we are ready for you to come and make some memories! The Pumpkin Patch is open Monday – Thursday 12-7pm, Friday and Saturday 9am – 7pm and Sunday 12-7pm. Proceeds from the sales at the patch go toward missions for First Methodist Students and First Methodist Included Special Needs. This funds Mission Week, where we yearly serve our Mansfield community in big ways!
Are you interested in volunteering at the Pumpkin Patch?
We have several shifts a day for students and their families to serve at The Patch. Shifts are split up into 2-hour blocks every day. While you work the patch, help customers carry their pumpkins to their cars, measure pumpkins to determine the cost, help customers check out, etc.
A staff member is available that day to help with any questions. Anybody is welcome to work the patch! This is a great way for students to get service hours and serve our community! We ask that any students below 9th grade have a parent or adult accompany them at the Patch.
Find out more by visiting our website here.
