by First Methodist Mansfield

If you need more information about any of these events or opportunities, feel free to email us here or text us at 817-477-6498 and a member of our staff will connect with you.

PASTORS BIBLE STUDY
Begins TOMORROW  •  10:00 – 11:00 AM  •  Chapel • Online
You’re invited to attend an ongoing Bible study! This fall we will be reading through the book of Acts together. This one-hour study, led by our pastors, provides a way for you to be in Scripture and build relationships with one another. Come as you are able, bring a Bible, and invite a friend.  No registration is needed, just show up with your Bible to the Chapel. This opportunity is also available online.

JOURNEY THROUGH GRIEF
Begins September 12 •  6:30 PM
If you are grieving a loss in your life, we want to invite you to attend our 6-week Journey Through Grief class. This class is for those who have experienced any kind of loss and provides tools and a supportive environment to understand and cope with the grief process. Our morning class is full, but we have plenty of room in our evening class. Childcare is provided for the evening session. Find out more information and register at this link

GUYS NIGHT OUT
September 27th  •  6:30 – 8:00 PM
Join us for our next Guys Night Out event. Microsoft’s Brian Cheng will be here to share how they are integrating AI into installable applications. Brian is a Texas Aggie engineer and spent years at IBM, Wier Oil & Gas, Avery Dennison, and now Microsoft developing new technologies. Brian is perfect for our GNO group because even as he spends his days helping to create the very front edges of new technology; the lens through which he views life is centered on serving Christ and leading his young family. Golf may be a close fourth though. We cannot wait for you to hear his takes on… Will AI change the future? Will that be for the good or the bad? The way Microsoft works.  Please register Here

PUMPKIN PATCH UNLOADING
September 29th •  12:30 PM  •  Building A – The Loft
Fall is here, and soon our pumpkins will be too! On September 29th, we will be receiving an 18-wheeler FULL of so many pumpkins!  We would love your help in unloading all of these pumpkins. To help, show up at 12:30 pm on the front lawn of the church facing Walnut Creek.  Once you arrive to unload, you will be placed on a team and assigned a certain area of the patch to unload pumpkins. Pumpkin unloading is fun for the whole family! We have opportunities for all ages and abilities to help us set up The Patch. Visit our website for more information and to sign up to work a shift selling pumpkins.

CHECK-IN USING THE CHURCH APP
Did you know that you can check in for worship on our FMCM app?
Here is how it works:
1. Download/open the FMCM app.
2. Click the “check-in” button on the bottom right-hand corner.
3. Input your phone number if asked.
4. Check in for the service you are attending.
Check-in is available 30 minutes before our worship services so it will not work during the week.
