Boomers and Beyond

Our Boomers & Beyond Ministry mixes fun with faith for those of us in the second phase of life. Though we may be near or at retirement age, we are not called to retire from life! God continues to ask each of us to serve, meet new people, engage in the Bible, and find joy in life! We want to stay engaged in the life of the church and community, so we offer events, trips, Bible studies, speakers, and opportunities to serve together. This church reaches out to the community with programs that challenge and enrich the mind and spirit, so all Boomers & Beyond events are open to guests and members.

Upcoming Boomers and Beyond Events:

"Always...Patsy Cline"
JANUARY 23, 2020 • ARTISAN CENTER THEATER • HURST
The show is based on a true story about Cline’s friendship with a fan from Houston named Louise Seger, who befriended the star in a Texas honky-tonk in l961 and continued a correspondence with Cline until her death. The musical play, complete with down-home country humor, true emotion, and even some audience participation, includes many of Patsy’s unforgettable hits such as Crazy, I Fall to Pieces, Sweet Dreams and Walking After Midnight…27 songs in all. The show’s title was inspired by Cline’s letters to Seger, which were consistently signed “Love ALWAYS… Patsy Cline.” Registration is closed.
