A Note From Pastor Sheaby Pastor Shea Reyenga
Dear First Family,
I hope you had a chance to hear last weekend’s message and will participate in our online services this weekend as we share the second week of our series, Big God, Big ️. Our current focus is also meant to be a direct response to our shared need.
We’re excited about these upcoming ministry opportunities. Please take a look at what is upcoming below.
Come And Go Prayer is back on September 26th from 9 am to noon in the Sanctuary. Join us for an in-person opportunity to stop by for prayer and reflection. Our sanctuary belongs to God as a house of prayer. We want to intercede for each other and our world. You are welcome to come and pray and/or receive prayer from a pastor. We'll also provide a prayer guide on the screens to encourage you to pray for unity and against division in our church, country, and world. Registration is required. Masks are required. Register here.
Pastor’s Bible Study has begun. The Bible is sacred, covering a long history, full of many different kinds of texts; and yet it’s one grand story of God revealing His nature and His plan of salvation for the world. Join me as we explore the six movements of God’s story. In six weeks, we will cover the major themes of Scripture, making a long story short.
Several weeks ago we launched a new ministry called Morning Connection over Zoom. During this time you have the chance to pray with our pastors, explore ways to connect to the many opportunities First Methodist Mansfield has to offer, process the message or just see a familiar face! This is also a great way to help a friend connect to First Methodist Mansfield. Ask a friend to join you at Morning Connection this week! For a direct link to Morning Connection and for more information, go to our website!
I want to encourage you to worship with us and continue your giving online or by downloading our Church App by texting FMCMAPP to 77977 or by searching FMCM in your App Store.
I thank God for you and praise Him for your faithfulness to the gospel. I look forward to seeing you around campus when the wave of this virus subsides. That day can’t come soon enough!
Grace and Peace in Christ,
