A Note From Pastor Shea

A Note From Pastor Shea

Dear First Family,
We are kicking off a new sermon series this weekend called We Are The Church. Pastor David will share what scripture says is the very nature of the church from 1 Corinthians 12. Even though we continue to live physically distant from one another, we don’t want to become idle to the mission God has called us to live out. We are actively laying the foundation for becoming a “A Church of 1,000 House Churches.” On Tuesday night, we shared more details about that plan. If you were unable to join us, you can watch the conversation here. Even now, what we do matters. Our actions have cosmic implications. We are still in the business of heaven to make disciples of all nations. It is our hope to be of the same heart and mind that was in Christ Jesus. We stand together in agreement lifting up these words from the Gospel of Matthew: “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” (Matthew 18:18-20).
Please take a look at what is upcoming below.
This past Sunday, Pastor David shared conversation and communion with both Pastor Julian and Pastor Caesar on the topic of racism and injustice. We have had many of you asking to watch those messages again, or for the first time. Because each of these messages were live, both of them are different and we would love to give you the opportunity to share them with those that you feel would benefit from hearing these important conversations.
