A Note From Pastor Sheaby Pastor Shea Reyenga
Dear First Family,
I miss you! I’m praying for this virus to subside so we can gather together again sooner rather than later. While we remain online for worship, I hope you took the time to watch or listen to Pastor David’s important update for First Methodist last Tuesday. He outlined our values and commitments as a church family through this season of dealing with coronavirus. He also shared the vision we are going to live into while we’re in our non-gathering state. If you missed his message, you can watch it here.
I hope you join us in worship this weekend as we continue our series called The Next Great Awakening. We are living through this time with the conviction that monumental movements of the Spirit often happen at monumental moments in human history. We are witnessing a great movement of the Spirit! We will continue our reflection on repentance this weekend. God is speaking and moving in mighty ways!
In this strange time, here is an opportunity to serve. Mayor David Cook and the Mansfield Churches for the City are partnering with Carter BloodCare to offer a community-wide blood drive on Friday, May 15, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Appointments are required! Carter BloodCare is practicing social distancing at all of their blood drives. All donors will need to schedule an appointment. If you are in good health and interested in donating blood click here to make your appointment.
Here is the schedule for this weekend and the upcoming week. Please take note and share with others.
I want to encourage you to worship with us and continue your giving online or by downloading our Church App by texting FMCMAPP to 77977 or by searching FMCM in your App Store.
I thank God for you and praise Him for your faithfulness to the gospel. I look forward to seeing you around campus when the wave of this virus subsides. That day can’t come soon enough!
Grace and Peace in Christ,
